Cruinniú na nÓg: Dagger Making Workshop

Times: 11:00, 11:40, 12:20, 13:30, 14:10 & 14:50

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the workshop 

As part of our Cruinniú na nÓg Family Day, learn about the ancient craft of blade-smithing and the art of sword design including the role that a blacksmith played in society. Explore ancient technology of leatherwork and make a leather scabbard for your Viking Seax. Add a personal touch by inscribing your name using the Runic alphabet. 

Cruinniú na nÓg is a day of free creativity for children and young people in Ireland.
