Spring Workshop with Creative Genie - #KEEPWELL
A free zoom workshop with Creative Genie Trisha creating a Willow Flower Sculpture.
About this Event
Trisha from Creative Genie is back with us this month for another adult craft workshop, so it's time to get out in the spring sunshine and with Trisha's guidance and tips, make your very own willow flower sculpture! With locally sourced Irish grown willow you'll weave and bind your own flower framework, these can adorn fences or trellises or make the perfect base for a fresh flower arrangement. They can even stand alone on a stake support, adding a focal point in your garden.
This workshop is designed for adults, but younger artists might like to assist too. Materials are provided in a kit form but having a pair of garden snips or secateurs is essential.
Creative Genie was launched in 2014 by Trisha Bonham Corcoran as a result of a lifelong love of designing and creating as well as her years of building skills in the entertainment industry. Trisha's mission was to build a business and platform that allowed her to hone her skills. She currently provides a specialized and unique service designing and making all manner of props and display confectionery for clients. These have included filmmakers, theatres, health professionals, photographers, and catering showrooms to name just a few. She also loves to share her many skills and knowledge with others and regularly runs classes and seasonal workshops.
