Join us as we delve into the interplay of architecture, movement and the concept of invisible walls.
We live surrounded by physical and invisible walls, so many walls that rose throughout human history, political walls, social walls, emotional walls. We are protected and divided by these walls. These solid structures still rise between us.
With metaphoric and literal walls, dance artist Selma Daniel invites communities to celebrate the details of local architecture that can pass unseeing, using dance, original music and engaging with young people from the local community.
Young people ages 13-18 are invited to take part in the OutWall Youth Dance Project. Taking place in the week leading up to the performance, no prior experience is needed—just bring your love for dance and movement.
