Children's Speech & Drama Classes With Penelope Moorhead

Penelope Moorhead is an experienced speech, drama and communication teacher who travels throughout Ireland as an examiner and adjudicator of speech and drama. Penelope’s classes offer an encouraging, fun and inclusive approach to speech & drama. Suitable for Junior Infants to 6th class.

Act Out - Youth Theatre @ Solstice

Tuesdays 6:30pm - 8:00pm

ACT OUT is a fresh, new youth theatre company established in 2017 in partnership with Solstice and under the Artistic Direction of Anthony Kinahan. It is a forum for young people of secondary school age in Meath to learn more about theatre & performance through fun & engaging workshops. The company is guided by the students and involves them as active participants in the running of the youth theatre.

Children’s Musical Theatre Classes

Tuesdays 3:30pm – 6:30pm

Caithriona Mongey and Aisling Rountree lead professional coaching in singing, dancing and acting for stage. Participants work on performance technique and develop understanding of the varied aspects of musical theatre to help develop confidence and creativity in a fun environment. Classes are split into age appropriate groups from 5 – 18 years.

Ballet Classes with Butterfly Ballet School

Wednesdays 2:30pm - 4:00pm  |  Saturdays 10:00am - 12:00pm  (as per school calendar)

Classical ballet classes for children age 4+ covering the internationally recognised Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus. Children are given the opportunity to prepare for RAD examinations and take part in local events and performances.

Silver Swans - Over 55s Ballet

Silver Swans classes have been specifically designed for the over-55s, but whatever your age, if you are looking for a new way to keep fit this ballet classes will put a spring in your step! Whether you’ve never danced before or want to get back into the swing of it, Silver Swans classes have something for everyone.

The Royal Academy of Dance developed this programme based on research into dance practice for older learners – classes are taught by Silver Swans licensed teacher Caroline Kennedy.
