Solstice Arts Centre is excited to welcome the Music Generation Meath Harp Ensemble for the opening of Irish National Opera's The Cunning Little Vixen!
Music Generation Meath Harp Ensemble meets every week during term time, Sept to May.
Currently, there are 17 members ranging in ages from 7-17 years. Their Director & Musician Educator is Sharon Carroll who has led this group from the start and brings a wealth of experience to the ensemble. Music Generation Meath provides Harps for rental to all of the students. This helps to minimise costs for parents and also supports the promotion of the Harp.
This group has performed at a number of events and locations during the years e.g. Cairde na Cruite festival in Termonfeckin, Nobber Heritage Centre celebrating Turlough O'Carolan weekend, National Harp Day in October and regular performances for parents at our music hub in Navan.
They are really looking forward to performing in Solstice Arts Centre in Foyer series for the opening of The Cunning Little Vixen with Irish National Opera on February 17th
