Oisín Leech & Very Special Guest Steve Gunn
With recent solo performances at Glastonbury 2025 and the Royal Albert Hall it has been a busy period for the Meath born artist Oisin Leech. His Cold Sea LP received worldwide acclaim and has seen over 4 million streams since its release last year. It was awarded ‘Albums of the Year’ by The Irish Times, MOJO, UNCUT, and was awarded ‘Album of the Year’ by BBC 6 Music as chosen by Cerys Matthews.
Recorded on the Atlantic coast of Donegal by Brooklyn musician Steve Gunn who joins Oisin for this unique Solstice Arts Centre event; the album features many luminaries including Dónal Lunny, Tony Garnier (Bob Dylan’s bassist since 1989), M Ward and Roisín McGrory.
Very Special Guest is Steve Gunn the acclaimed experimental Brooklyn artist, who produced Leech’s debut LP Cold Sea, and who himself releases his brand new 7th studio album this November 2025 entitled “Daylight Daylight” on No Quarter Records.
Over the last year Oisín Leech has shared the stage with many including Richard Hawley, Vashti Bunyan, M Ward, Sam Amidon, Bryce Dessner, This Is The Kit, Lisa O’Neill, and Gaz Coombes of Supergrass.
Now this November, Oisín continues the tradition of this very special annual concert at the Solstice Arts Centre which began over a decade ago with The Lost Brothers. A date on the music calendar not to be missed.
Graham Heaney will join Oisin on double bass while Saramai Leech and Cormac O’Keefe of Irish duo Perlee will also make a special appearance.
