Pulse by Mukti Shri
Pulse is a musical journey that celebrates the grandeur of Indian dance and music in their purest, most
imaginative forms. The experience begins with the soft breath of a bamboo flute; luminous sitar lines glide
in, spiralling around the earthy thrum of tabla and pakhawaj, while expressive vocals rise like a quiet hymn.
Conceived by Kathak exponent Mukti Shri, the production gathers some of India’s most promising young
artistes. Having performed across the globe—both as a soloist and in collaborations with Indian and Western ensembles—Mukti now pours her rich experience into Pulse, inviting audiences to feel every heartbeat of the tradition.
