Inviting artists living in or from County Meath to submit works of all disciplines, Solstice Arts Centre is delighted to announce the fifteenth SURVEYOR open exhibition. Supporting, valuing and encouraging Meath artists in the development of their practices and creative careers, the exhibition presents an overview of contemporary visual arts practice throughout the county.

This year we are delighted to announce the work will be selected by Darragh Hogan, Director at Kerlin Gallery, Dublin.

For its 20th year, Solstice is pleased to announce the continuation of three awards:

• Solstice Visual Arts Award to the value of €2000 for a work of distinction in any medium.
• Meath County Council Arts Office ‘Going Solo Award 2026’ for a recent graduate and/or emerging artist to the value of €2000.
• Newgrange Gold Award to the value of €1000, presented to an outstanding work demonstrating a connection to the natural environment.

The winner of these awards will be announced at the opening of the exhibition on Sat 14 November at 2:30pm.

CALL OUT FOR SUBMISSIONS
Online submissions open: Tue 29 September, 10am
Online submission deadline: Fri 16 October, 5pm
Drop off date to Solstice for adjudication of artwork: Sat 31 Oct, between 11am – 4pm
Collection of unselected artworks: Sat 7 Nov, between 11am – 4pm
