Withering art world star Julian Sklar (Ian McKellan) has drifted into seclusion when his estranged children hire Lori (Michaela Coel) to pose as his new assistant to gain access to The Christophers: a series of long abandoned paintings buried in Julian’s attic. The plan? Have talented forger Lori finish the paintings behind Julian’s back and sell them off when he dies.

This biting, comedic two-hander is a uniquely subversive anti-heist film. Coel and McKellen are both superb, expertly playing off each other as two stubborn, talented, and frustrated characters caught up in an increasingly messy scheme.
