What Remains Absent
Feá McCoy
Café Gallery
Using analogue mediums with a particular focus on slide film and the performance of projection, McCoy’s work describes the relationship between memory, place, and grief. Navigating the past through archival family material such as photographs and home videos, McCoy creates work that is an act of remembering and reimagining, attempting to construct a fantastical past and uncover alternate versions of a real one.
