Young People get the opportunity to run the show at Solstice

As part of an exciting new initiative in conjunction with eCOMM Merchant Solutions, Solstice Arts Centre is delighted to invite 13 – 18 year-olds to become part of the first-ever Youth Programming Committee at the centre. Solstice is looking for young people to come on board to discuss, develop, programme, and organise vibrant and relevant cultural events that matter to them and their peers.

Last year eCOMM Merchant Solutions and Solstice announced a two-year creative investment to develop arts opportunities for young people in County Meath. Now, they want young people to become directly involved in designing and creating those opportunities, ensuring that young people remain at the heart of the centre’s decision making, policy, and programming into the future.

Those aged 13 – 18 who would like to be involved should send a quick message to Solstice outlining why they would like to take part. Get in touch via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter (@solsticearts), or by email to erin.kenny@solsticeartscentre.ie (by 20 May 2019).
