When renowned psychiatrist Lilian Steiner learns of the death of one of her patients, Paula, she is deeply troubled. Attending the wake, Steiner receives an unusually hostile reception from Paula’s husband. Convinced there’s more to her patient’s death than meets the eye, she embarks on her own investigation into the death.
