Cruinniú na nÓg: Create a Creature Pot! with Anita Reynolds

Time: 10am (120mins) 
Suitable for children aged 7 - 11 years 

As part of our Cruinniú na nÓg Family Day, enjoy this pottery workshop where each child will learn to make a pinch/thumb pot with basic sculpting techniques, using pottery clay and creativity to create a chosen creature or monster of their own imagination.

The pots will need a couple of weeks to go through the glazing and firing process in Anita’s kiln, before then going on display in Navan Library! After the exhibition, participants may take home their pieces to keep.  As this is a messy event, we recommend either bringing an apron/overall or wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Cruinniú na nÓg is a day of free creativity for children and young people in Ireland.
