Navan Theatre Group: A Night of One-Acts
Four diverse pieces of theatre. One central theme of family. Audiences will be brought on a journey through marriage, parenthood, growing older in life and the cost of hidden family secrets. A night at the theatre that will see you both laughing and reflecting on life’s milestones in equal measure.
The line-up each night will include Cold Feet by Brad Sytsma, New Mums and Little Bums by Áine Murray, Went a Furze-Smashing by Diarmuid McGuinness, and From Eden by Stephen Jones.
Navan Theatre Group is proud to announce that two of this year’s pieces have been written by the group’s own members: New Mums and Little Bums by Áine Murray, and the winner of the best overall script award at this year’s Page to Stage Festival at Wexford Arts Centre, Went a Furze-Smashing by Diarmuid McGuinness.
Making their directorial debut with the group this November are Sharon Carroll, Jerry Comyn and Áine Murray, alongside award-winning Navan Theatre Group director, Clare Atkinson.
