Look and respond to the shapes artists use within their artworks. Where do these shapes begin and end?

Cut, place and repeat to create temporary artforms that move across the gallery floor. Stick, join and hang shapes that grow up the walls. Explore how working together, using simple shapes such as the square or triangle, the possibilities are endless.

This workshop will focus on works by artists Ronnie Hughes, Grace McMurray, and Gerard Caris who are exhibiting in our current group show Of Peras and Apeiron. Links to the primary curriculum include exploration of shape, colour, and construction, embracing communication, exploring, thinking, and encouraging fine and gross motor skills.
