Through sculpture making, and written and oral language, join Katarina Stanković and artist Barbara Knežević to explore themes within her current exhibition The Iron Gates. Demonstrating fun conversational introductions to the Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin, and Serbian (BCMS) languages, participants are invited to respond through clay, connecting our senses through the making process while expanding and sharing cultural identities of which language is fundamental.

Learning basic conversational words and phrases, the experimental terracotta sculptures will be fired and glazed by the artist after the workshop for participants to keep.

No clay making or language skills required to take part in this workshop. Please dress for a little mess. Light refreshments will be served.
